Privacy Policy

Effective October 25, 2026

My Vault: Secret Photo Locker ("My Vault", "the app") is built so that your private photos and videos stay private. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: we don't collect any of it.

Information we collect

None. My Vault has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. The app does not send your photos, videos, pattern, usage data or device identifiers to us or to anyone else.

Your photos and videos

Photos and videos you add to My Vault are encrypted on your iPhone with AES-256-GCM before they are stored, and they remain on your device. The encryption key is protected by the unlock pattern you choose. We never see your pattern, and we have no way to open your vault or recover its contents.

Because your files are stored in the app's private storage on your device, they may be included in your own encrypted iPhone backups (for example iCloud or computer backups), in encrypted form only. Deleting the app deletes your vault from the device.

Face ID / Touch ID

If you turn on biometric unlock, My Vault asks iOS to check your face or fingerprint. The check happens entirely inside iOS; the app only learns whether it succeeded. Your biometric data never reaches the app or us.

Permissions

You can change these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Children

My Vault does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
