Terms of Use
EmberSeek: Room-by-Room Finder (“EmberSeek”) · Effective October 26, 2026
License
EmberSeek is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add details about subscriptions and what the app can and can't do. If they conflict with the EULA, the EULA applies.
EmberSeek Pro subscriptions
- EmberSeek Pro is available as a weekly or a yearly auto-renewing subscription. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- The yearly plan may include a free trial for eligible new subscribers. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged the yearly price.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase (or when a free trial ends).
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Canceling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Any unused part of a free trial ends when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
What EmberSeek can and can't do
EmberSeek estimates how strong a nearby device's Bluetooth signal is. It can only detect devices that are powered on, broadcasting Bluetooth and within range. It cannot find devices that are switched off, out of battery or out of range, it does not show locations on a map, and signal strength is affected by walls, bags and people. EmberSeek is a convenience tool and is provided “as is”, without any guarantee that a device will be found.
Acceptable use
Use EmberSeek only to look for your own devices or devices you have permission to locate. Don't use it to track people.
